Page Overview
The program information page is a modular page that changes based on a structured report file. These pages are where users can enter information regarding the project ranging from setup details to contact information. A program’s reports are also assigned via these pages.
Page Objectives
The program information page is where all users can access and edit a program’s information. This info can be dates, descriptions, uploads, checkboxes/radios. Whatever the jurisdiction would like to be available on that page we add.

Starting around line 8 you can see that there is a structure to each line. The way this is broken down is in the following order: the title of the field, where the field will be saved, the type of input, the size of input. After that depending on the field anything that comes after can be options for a dropdown, radio, or checkbox.
Below is a short legend of typical fields used:
- TB: Text Box
- TA: Text Area
- DD: Drop-Down
- RAD: Radio
- TBD: Date field
- TBU: File Upload
- BL: Blank or Custom Field
This information is then processed through a series of conditional statements in progadmin.pl to build the page.
Report Selection
A program’s reports are also assigned on this page. Typically the Contract Info page. A list of reports that are specified in a file named “ProgramReports.rpt” are displayed at the bottom of the page.
Here checking the box adds a Report Code to the program in the database. In the second column you can find the last report period if a report exists, or if one doesn’t exist yet you can set the reporting period you would like the first report to begin.
Saving the information
Submitting information to the database is handled by progadmin2.pl.
